30-40 KRAG BARREL

Our 30-40 Krag barrel is a direct replacement barrel for the .30-40 Krag rifle. These vintage rifles have long been used for service rifle competitions, hunters, and service rifle collectors. This barrel is made from high-grade 4150 CMV steel and features a 30-40 Krag-Jorgensen chamber with a 1-10 twist rate. All milling operations are completed, including the extractor cut, front dovetail, and drilled and tapped holes for the 8-32 rear sight. Our 30-40 Krag barrels are hand lapped and finished in the white. Each barrel is short chambered and ready to be headspaced and installed by a qualified gunsmith.
